Dr. Maia Moyer-Hazen

Originally from Northern New York, Dr. Maia Moyer-Hazen earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from St. Lawrence University in 2008 before completing her optometry degree at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2013. She relocated to Lancaster County following graduation. Her professional interests include low vision rehabilitation, dry eye disease, glaucoma management, and the evaluation and treatment of patients with traumatic brain injuries (TBI).

Dr. Maia lives in Strasburg with her husband, Barry, and their two sons, Andrew and Peter. Outside of the office, she enjoys staying active in the local soccer community, coaching travel boys’ soccer and playing in a women’s soccer league on Sundays, and is an avid runner who has completed the Broad Street Run multiple times, along with several half marathons.
